Maui Photography Workshops - Terms and Conditions

By booking a Maui Photography Workshop, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Payment

A 50% deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the workshop.
Bookings made within 7 days require full payment at checkout.

Cancellations (by you)

If you cancel 8+ days before the workshop, you’ll receive a full refund.
If you cancel within 7 days, a $200 service fee per workshop day will be deducted from your refund.

All cancellations must be submitted by email.

Cancellations (by Scott)

If I must cancel before your workshop begins, you can reschedule or receive a full refund.
If a cancellation becomes necessary mid-workshop, you may reschedule the unused portion or receive a refund for the remaining time. This refund constitutes full and final settlement.

Weather & Conditions

Weather is part of landscape photography. We do not cancel for clouds, wind shifts, or uncertain conditions, as these often produce the best images.

If conditions become unsafe or truly unworkable, we will try to reschedule.
If rescheduling is not possible, you’ll receive a full refund for the missed time.

Non-Transferable Bookings

Workshop bookings are non-transferable unless approved in writing.

Itinerary Flexibility

Workshop timing and locations may shift based on tides, weather, wind, or conditions in the field. This flexibility is essential for outdoor photography. These adjustments do not qualify for partial refunds, as they’re a normal part of working with the landscape.

Special Requests

If you have specific needs or considerations, please notify me in advance. I’ll accommodate when possible, though no guarantees can be made.

Liability

Participants assume all risks associated with outdoor photography, including accident, injury, equipment loss, or death. Scott Reither LLC is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, delays, or additional expenses incurred during the workshop or in transit.

Participants are responsible for obtaining their own travel and health insurance.

Valuables & Equipment

You are responsible for the safety and security of your equipment and personal items throughout the workshop.

Transportation

Local transportation (Kihei/Wailea or Lahaina-side) is provided as a courtesy. By choosing to ride with me, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with travel, including the possibility of accident, injury, or death, as well as loss or damage to personal property. You agree that Scott Reither LLC is not liable for any such incidents that may occur while entering, exiting, or riding in the vehicle.

You are welcome to use your own vehicle if you prefer; in doing so, you accept full responsibility for your travel to and from all meeting points.

Image Use

You retain full rights to the photographs you create.
By attending, you consent to the use of workshop images or footage featuring you for marketing purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.

Agreement

By booking a workshop with Scott Reither LLC, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms. Checking the “I Agree” box at checkout serves as your signature.
