San Francisco Workshop — Terms & Conditions

By booking the San Francisco Photo Workshop, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Payment & Deposit

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
Your place is reserved once payment is received and confirmed by email.

2. Balance Due

The remaining balance is due on the date specified in the workshop presentation page, typically approximately two months prior to the start of the workshop.

Bookings made after the balance due date require payment in full at the time of booking.

3. Cancellations & Refunds (Participant)

Deposits are non-refundable, unless your spot is filled by another participant.

If your spot is filled, you will receive a full refund minus a $250 administrative fee to cover processing and coordination.

4. Cancellations (Workshop Host)

Scott Reither LLC reserves the right to cancel the workshop.

If cancellation occurs before the workshop begins, all payments will be refunded in full.

If cancellation occurs after the workshop has begun, you may reschedule the remaining time or receive a pro-rated refund for the unused portion.

Scott Reither LLC is not responsible for travel expenses, non-refundable airfare, accommodations, or other costs incurred in preparation for the workshop.

Participants are encouraged to wait to purchase airfare until the workshop is confirmed.

5. Minimum Group Size

This workshop requires three participants to operate.

If the minimum is not met, Scott Reither LLC may cancel the workshop up to four weeks before the start date.

All payments will be refunded in full.

Travel-related expenses remain the participant’s responsibility.

6. Non-Transferable Bookings

Bookings may not be transferred to another participant or to a different workshop unless agreed to in writing.

7. Itinerary Flexibility

The itinerary may adjust based on weather, light, location access, or unforeseen circumstances.

Refunds are not provided for itinerary changes.

Flexibility is a necessary part of photographing in a dynamic urban and coastal environment.

8. Special Requests

Dietary needs or other personal requests should be communicated in advance.

We will do our best to accommodate, but Scott Reither LLC cannot guarantee that all requests can be met.

9. Liability & Assumption of Risk

Participants acknowledge that photography—in urban and coastal environments—carries inherent risks.

By joining the workshop, you assume full responsibility for your own safety, health, and personal property.

Scott Reither LLC and its assistants assume no liability for injury, accidents, loss, theft, damage, or death occurring during the workshop or in transit.

Participants must carry their own travel, health, and gear insurance.

10. Personal Responsibility

Participants are responsible for transportation to and from San Francisco, maintaining adequate physical fitness for workshop activities, and ensuring they can carry their own equipment during outings.

11. Transportation

Local transportation during the workshop may be provided as a courtesy.

By choosing to ride with Scott Reither LLC, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with travel, including the possibility of accident, injury, or death, as well as loss or damage to personal property.

You agree that Scott Reither LLC is not liable for any such incidents that may occur while entering, exiting, or riding in the vehicle.

Participants are welcome to use their own vehicle if they prefer.
By doing so, you accept full responsibility for your transportation to and from all meeting points.

12. Loss of Valuables

Scott Reither LLC is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to equipment or personal property at any time during the workshop.

13. Image Use

Images created by participants remain their property.

Images or video captured of participants during the workshop may be used for promotional purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.

14. Agreement

By booking this workshop, you confirm acceptance of these Terms & Conditions for yourself and any individuals included in your booking.
